Home Made Dining Table!

Visual journey over the course of a year sourcing and building a live edge, resin pour dinning table. Enjoy!

We found a Beautiful 10/4" Slab of local St. Louis Kentucky Coffee from Lumber Logs and brought it home with a little help from our friends.

Cut the slab down to size and routed structural 'pockets' into the back with a router track that I designed and printed.

My wife, Lynn, and I tried out a number of different items to embed in the poured epoxy, however, didn't love the aesthetic, so just went with a solid bottom layer and clear on top.

Found some beautiful powder-coated metal legs on Etsy by Flowy Line Design, and built an oak center stretcher that ties it all together structurally. Finally the Top had a base coat of epoxy and then several coats of clear polyurethane, before we gave it a boardgame trial on the back deck (highly recommend the game Pandemic Legacy btw!)

Final images of the Table with chairs coming :)
